Like any other B/B fan, I couldn't resist their conversation at the end of last week's episode. Brennan finally understanding that maybe there's something more to sex than just a release of endorphins? Be still my beating heart! So here's one story from her POV, closely followed by another from Booth's. ( The Real Thing ) |

I'm getting back into my fall tv shows (well, just the one really) by doing some drabble-ish fanfic. Here's a quick B/B piece involving their first kiss.

I believe I mentioned that I'd be going back and picking up on a few moments from last season and earlier in season two. This is something that came to me after watching the S1 finale.

I didn't expect to have another up so quickly, but this month's Cullen's Bullpen Challenge inspired me. For the challenge, we were to take lines from one movie and use them as all the dialogue for our story, changing nothing but the names (to protect the innocent?) I didn't plan to enter, because no movie really struck me as good B&B fodder. Then I realized there's another classic B&B pair who also spent far too much energy deny their attraction: Beatrice and Benedick from Much Ado About Nothing. I stayed up way too late two nights in a row working on this, so I hope it was worth the effort.

A few weeks ago, I got the "brilliant" idea to write a series of Booth/Brennan stories called "206 Ways to Say 'I Love You'." I say "brilliant" in quotes because it's one of the most ambitious tasks I've ever undertaken. I plan to write 206 one part stories, illustrating different moments in the BB relationship: moments from the show that scream out their feelings for anyone not too blind to see it, missing moments and post-episode moments that flesh out their feelings, or original moments I think fit the characters. Will it take me a while? Yes. I do have almost two whole seasons to collect missing moments from, but still... I believe I'm a little insane. Hopefully, you'll enjoy my insanity though. :)This one is called "Let it Go." It's set following "The Boneless Bride in the River." After Booth and Brennan wave good-bye to Sully, he’s left thinking about why he urged her to go, and more importantly, why she stayed. ( Read more... )
